Spirit Latte

A queer romance about defeating ghosts together.

Story

Jay has been running the family coffee shop all by himself ever since his father fell into a coma. But it hasn't been too difficult, because strangely, not a single customer has walked through the doors in weeks. One day, he meets someone who warns him that his store is haunted.

Can Jay save his coffee shop and learn to get along with this strange man? And is the ghost really the only thing that's haunting him?

(The game is playable on a browser, but I would probably recommend downloading it if you want to try out all the paths, since I'm not sure how well saving works on web.)

About

Spirit Latte was made in Ren'Py for the 2025 "Sealed with a Kiss" game jam.  I found out about it late, so I only had a bit over two weeks to make it (Meaning all-nighters and uhh maybe skipping a few sociology lectures). If I'm gonna be honest, this game is actually a coffee shop AU about characters from two different stories  I've written XD

Overall, there were some things I wish I could have developed more, but I got a lot more done than I was expecting!

Texting in the game was created using "yet another phone for renpy" asset by Nighten (link here).
